Mrs. Carmella Gabina started with the Business Council of Papua New Guinea in May of 2022. Prior to this, she spent 9 years (2011 – 2020) as the Managing Director to her family business called the Wellness Lodge. In 2008, she spent 3 years in Port Douglas, Australia, working as Sales Assistant and did bookkeeping for the Port Douglas News Agency. Mrs. Gabina graduated from the Pacific Adventist University with a BA in Accounting & Management in 2006. Currently, she also occupies the Vice President position on the PNG Tourism Industry Association and has been on the board since 2013.

Fiona Diaka is the current administration and finance officer for the Business Council of Papua New Guinea. She graduated with a diploma in Business Management from POMBISCOL and furthered her studies at the International Training Institute. Fiona has over 15 years working in administration. Fiona worked with the Manufacturers Council of Papua New Guinea as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. In 2017, BCPNG, Manufacturers Council of PNG (MCPNG), Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industries (POMCCI), Australia-PNG Business Council and the Rural Industries Council, all came together to share the office spaces at the CHM Corporate Offices in Gordons. Under the shared arrangement, she was asked to work as the Admin & Finance officer for the Secretariat. It was then that she was asked to work as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director, Mrs Gabina. Aside from the administration and finance role that she plays for both BCPNG and MCPNG, she also works as the membership officer for POMCCI. Her administration, finance and management skills and experience brings great value to BCPNG.
